The grill features flat plates on the left side and ribbed plates on the right. The strong, flat enamelled cast iron griddle plates maximise contact between the heat and the food. This not only ensures a consistent cook - it also speeds up cooking to help keep queues down. On the ribbed side, grease and fat is channelled away from the food, helping to promote healthier dishes whilst also providing attractive branding lines. As all the plates are enamelled cast iron, they retain more heat for longer, meaning that recovery times are reduced - so that's less time waiting for cooking temperatures to be reached.
