Copper is a fantastic heat conductor, allowing a fast heat-up and hotter temperatures. In addition, the consistent thickness offers uniform distribution and transmission of heat, reducing the chance of hot spots and food waste.

The premium design of the De Buyer conical jam pan helps to preserve the natural colour of fruit, meaning jams do not brown. The large flat bottom provides a stable base even on a gas burner, while the rounded angle of the skirt allows you to work all the mixture. Suitable for all cooktops except induction.
